where creativity builds confidence
During this time of uncertainty and home education, I have created bespoke home learning packs for children. They are personalised to their own interest, age and things they are familiar with. There is enough work for a few weeks and provides independent activities, allowing parents to carry on with their own work load, with less distractions.

ELS Tutoring is all about high-quality, creative teaching and learning. I passionately believe children will not fully flourish, unless they are confident and believe in themselves that ‘they can do it.’By putting the child’s personal interests at the forefront, their engagement is instantly captured, allowing them to feel more confident about learning, without realising it.
Through sophisticated teaching techniques, children learn and develop at a much faster pace. Due to the bespoke way of engagement, I can ensure your child will grow in confidence, be happier and therefore progress in their learning.
I've just had a project sent through for my son all about his favourite subject
(cats) and including his family. It's really good. Harry is thoroughly enjoying it.It’s learning without knowing he is learning.
Perfect for a PDA child x
These are such life saver. I'd be going mad without something to keep the girls occupied whilst I'm trying to work and because it's all abut their favourite things, they don't even fell like they are working. Thank you Emma!
After a disastrous start to home learning, we ordered a Fortnite learning pack from Emma. It's made it so much easier to get my son focused on work and given me ideas on what projects we can do. Thank you Emma!

I have worked in primary education for over twenty years, the latter as a headteacher.
After turning round a very challenging school, I wanted a new and different project. Something that allowed me to develop my skills and ability to teach, but in a different way.
As a mum of a year 5 boy, who is sports mad and not always interested in reading and homework, I have always had to think outside the box, to actively engage him.
When I left the school life, I wanted some quality time with my family and be a ‘guilt free’ mum. I no longer had that daily challenge of juggling work and home, but being the person that I am, the brain kept working overtime.
I started tutoring a couple of children and before I knew it, word had spread and I was fully booked within weeks.
In March 2020, the world suddenly stopped as Coronavirus took over and life became extremely precious. Schools were suddenly shut and families were left in vulnerable positions. As the country was ‘locked down’ and overnight parents turned into teachers; playing with friends and going out became a distant memory, life became very different.
Even though, I can teach in my sleep or standing on my head, if that’s what it takes! home educating your own children is a completely different ball game. You would think I’d have this all under control, but I was facing the same problem as everyone else across the world, due to the fact I am 'mum' and not his teacher.
Oscar is passionate about football and loves his computer games so, like I would in school, I adapted his learning to these subjects. Suddenly, life at home became a lot easier. He was reading through research, writing for a purpose, calculating numbers to pay football salaries, designing new kits and creating training sessions for his beloved team.
As I overheard Oscar talking to his friends about it, I ran a trial with family, friends and children who I currently tutor.
The feedback and outcomes were AMAZING!
With so many families also struggling across the world, I would love to help as many I can.
